Dirty Laundry presents photographs of laundry mats to create an awareness about the depletion of public space and how efficiency-obsessed culture has falsely prioritized the privatization of space and action.
Exhibited at the Cumberland Gallery in Ottawa (255 Centrum Boulevard, 2nd Floor) from December 4, 2008 to January 13, 2009.
All the photos in the exhibit were 16" x 20" hand-printed silver gelatin prints.
The images below are just representations of the prints.
The full size prints in front of you are the best way to view these images.
Let me know if you are interested in seeing them!
